Life after 30, 40, 50???

You hear all the time how life after a certain age is better, well when you get to ride everyday and venture to destination like our Ride N Dine Club goes to every Wednesday night, Life after is measured in hours not years.  And life after 6 O’clock this particular Wednesday was grand.

This past Wednesday was the third consecutive day in the high 80’s with full on humidity.  No matter how bubbly your personality might be everyone get s a little cranking and agitated in this weather.

Our ride to Geneva on the Lake could have not come at a better moment.  We saddled up and rolled out an impressive gathering of bike west bound.  To date this was our longest ride yet, but well worth it.  Riding along some cliffs that overlook Lake Erie are priceless and another reminder of how good life really is.

Our destination, The Firehouse Winery welcomed us as we rolled all 36 bikes into the parking lot.  With a live band and a few of the lake we all stretched back in our chairs and let the frustrations of the day go away.  Serving size at the winery was impressive as well as samplings of their wines.  We hit a road bump in their service as they were overwhelmed and under staffed.  I would not let that deter me from venturing back.
